BCCI Secretary Jay Shah was Elected ICC Chairman

Jay Shah, secretary of the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI), was elected as the chairman of the International Cricket Council. He is the youngest chairman of the council. Jay Shah, 35, has been serving as the honorary secretary of the BCCI since 2019 and the chairman of the Asian Cricket Council since 2021.

ICC Chairman Greg Barkley announced his resignation last week, the term of the new ICC Chairman will start from December 1. Remember that India's Jagmohan Dalmiya and Sharad Pawar have been the ICC Chief in the past.
