On Wednesday, the president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board Nazimul Hasan Popan resigned from his position, which was confirmed by the cricket board. According to Bangladeshi media, Nazimul Hasan Popan was among the close people of former Prime Minister Hasina Wajid. He also held the portfolio of Sports Minister.
