Saud Shakeel has become the joint fastest Pakistani player to score 1000 runs in Test cricket, he completed 1000 runs in his 20th Test innings. Before 28-year-old Saud Shakeel, this feat was accomplished by Pakistan's Saeed Ahmed in 1958-59. While Sadiq Muhammad 22, Javed Miandad completed 1000 runs in 23 innings. This is Saud Shakeel's first Test match against Bangladesh, he is at the crease with 57 runs at the end of the first day's play.
