According to the first schedule of the two-match series, Karachi will host Bangladesh between August 30 and September 3 and the match should be played without spectators due to renovation work, but now and the PCB has moved the game to a. new place, fans will be able to go. A PCB press release issued on Sunday said: “Construction experts are guiding us on the timeline for the preparation of the [Karachi National Stadium]. They said that even if the building is constructed during the game hours, the noise pollution from it will disturb the cricketers. In addition, dust from construction work can also affect the health and well-being of players, officials, broadcasters and media.

Given that the construction will continue without interruption to ensure that the venue is operational for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the PCB, after discussing with all the stakeholders and considering the operational and logistical issues, decided to organize a test both in Rawalpindi. »

Karachi will also host England and they will visit in two months time. In this, the PCB said, "At this time, we do not want to speculate about hosting the second Test in Karachi from October 15-19 and we will continue to work closely with the architects and experts in building and protecting the game, as you inform the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Pakistan is having an impressive home season with seven Tests and an ODI series featuring New Zealand and South Africa. But the Champions League in February is the marquee event as it will be the first ICC tournament to be hosted in Pakistan since the 1996 ODI World Cup. To ensure that everything goes smoothly, the PCB has also been working on renovating its stadium.

PCB hopes to be able to spread all these matches across its three venues: Rawalpindi, Karachi and Multan. Lahore's relegation put Gaddafi out of contention for home games until early next year. The PCB was reportedly initially against hosting the Bangladesh Test outside Karachi due to logistical concerns. The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will begin on August 21 in Rawalpindi, where the hosts are set to play without a batsman hoping for a quick and effective run. The second test will begin at the same venue on August 30.
