Bangladesh suffered a major setback in the form of injury before the series against Pakistan.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that Mehmoodul Hasan has been out of the team due to injury, doctors have advised him to rest for 3 weeks.
The board has not yet announced the name of Mehmoodul Hasan's replacement player.
According to a report by CricketBuzz, the Chief Physio of the Bangladesh Cricket Board says that Mahmoodul Hasan has suffered an injury in the right side of his back, due to which he will have to stay away from cricket for 3 weeks.
The Bangladeshi cricketer was a part of the team in the 2 four-day matches played against Pakistan Shaheens and he got injured while fielding and could not even come to bat in the second innings.
Mehmoodul Hasan scored 65 runs in the first innings against Shaheens.
It should be noted that the first Test of the series against Bangladesh will be played from August 21 in Rawalpindi, while the second Test will be played on August 30 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
